Much of our time is spent at meetings and events that can often feel unorganized, dull, lacking in clarity or highly controlled. In this breakout, we will talk through some ideas on how to create a fun environment, empower attendees with a clear purpose and outcome and create a space for collaboration and experiments.
Brian Ralph is an Agile Coach with USAA (San Antonio). He came into the Agile space in 2007 and has worked on several Agile engagements since then, most recently with CA Agile Central (Rally) in Boulder, where he learned the craft of facilitation. Brian is a husband, Dad to three and when not coaching, is an Irish musician and pastor of a Lean Startup Church in San Antonio. His wife refers to him as a Scrum Pastor.
Brian’s aim is to deliver on the following story:
· As Agilists · We would like to have a learning session on facilitation · So that we can grow in the craft of creating fun, collaborative and focused spaces for those we serve · We will know that this was useful to us if we exit the room with one or two items we have pulled into our tool belt
